A video submitted by Faten (never use the glasses in your hotel room) drew my attention to something we might overlook when we walk into a hotel room

we always tend to assess a good room by how it looks,the scenery,how comfortable it is but do we think how clean it is?

most Hotel rooms look clean but are they really clean?

The video showed us how glasses in your room are cleaned..they never leave the room ,they are either washed in the sink without any detergent or they are just sprayed with glass cleaner to make them look clean and shiny

Here are some tips to help you have a safe and hygienic stay at any hotel

1. Choose your lodging well.choose your hotel wisely. Large national chains with good reputations want to keep them. Also know that a smaller property may be cleaner than a large one. The more rooms a housekeeper has to turn over, the more likely he is to cut corners

2. Give the room a good inspection. You can get a sense of the cleanliness of a room as soon as you walk in the door. But take the time to look in the bathroom, under the beds, in drawers, etc. And pull back the bedcovers! Bedbugs and other critters can be an issue at even the nicest properties.

4. Ditch the bedspread .How often are the bedspreads cleaned? The truth is: not that often. Cleaning bedspreads is expensive.Look for rust-colored stains on sheets and bedspreads. It can be a sign that bedbugs are present

5_Travel with sanitizing wipes. Wipe things that people touch a lot, such as the phone and the remote.

6_Remote cleanliness.

One of the dirtiest items in the room is the television remote.Put the remote into a plastic bag,such as a clear storage bag during your stay, or use a sanitizing wipe and wipe the surface of the remote.

7_Never walk barefoot in a hotel room.

8_Never place your luggage on the floor,you dont know what might you carry back home with you

9_Wash your hands.The main way you can get sick is by getting lots of germs on your hands
